Before my Dad passed, he bought this giant and, gaudy fake Christmas tree, which blinks its lights from white to multi-colored, from blinking to stable, slow on/off to sparkling. It had like 12 different settings and when I tried to explain how to use the remote control to pick just one setting, my dad demanded I leave it on demo-mode, so he could see the tree constantly scrolling through its settings. He only got to spend 1 Christmas with the tree, so I'm glad he got to see all the possibilities over and over again.
